BICE and its partners will host a conference led by Patrick Sanson on the use of Clinical Psycho-Pedagogy for supporting autistic children and others with severe communication difficulties in the CIS at the French Embassy in Moscow, 20 November 2009.

After 25 years of experience as a specialized teacher of autistic children, Mr. Patrick Sanson was, for 8 years, the director of a specialised centre for autistic adolescents in the region around Paris, the IPPA (Institute for Applied Psycho-Pedagogy for autistic adolescents). He is the author of the book "Psycho-Pedagogy and Autism: Working with Children and Adults" (2005).

His practices in Clinical Psycho-Pedagogy bring together specific tools of TEACH, ABA and MAKATON, combining psychoanalitical and pedagogical approaches to support autistic people.

The event will be hosted by BICE, the Centre for Curative Pedagogy (Moscow), the French Embassy in Russia, and the city of Moscow Department of Education.

This event is open to the entire public.
